I have to say I could not have found a more perfect person to design my home. Kathy’s attention to detail was amazing. She truly made it a place for me to relax and feel right at home. Not only did she listen to my wants and needs she made it perfect. There is not one thing I would change. She took the time with me to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. My home is warm and inviting. I can’t wait to have family and friends visit my home in Big Sky! It is definitely my home away from home!!

We bought a less than perfect redo ski home. We were on a budget and needed a designer that used some of our pieces but could bring new ideas and furniture in to give us a WOW factor! Kathy Tatom was the perfect fit for us! We started with a redesign and over time have redone several rooms and reconstructed a few as budget allowed. After purchasing our home in Big Sky this past fall 2014, we asked one of the Real Estate agents with whom we worked to recommend a decorator. Kathy was one of the ones we met with. She came with wonderful suggestions and a tremendous amount of enthusiasm. We were already excited to have become homeowners in the area but she helped ignite that excitement even more.

She was very quick to get a feel for our taste/style preferences, and desires as to how we wanted our home to become a warm and inviting place for family and friends to gather. She was never pushy with what she suggested might look good if she sensed I wasn’t too crazy about it. Though I must say that 9 out of 10 suggestions she made were perfect. She has some great connections with many talented craftsmen, all of whom were genuinely nice people and a delight to work with. When we were back in VA she stayed on top of “getting things done and ready” so that when our whole family arrived for Christmas it had beautifully become our home and one we all felt so at home in. She has quickly become someone I call a friend and whom I am so thankful to know.
